Dockweiler BPE Surfaces
Inner surfaces
The welded Dockweiler BPE tube in accordance with ASME BPE, inner surface finished to fulfil the Ra max ASME BPE specification, supplied in TP 316L as specified in Table DT3 ASME BPE 2007 and in the surface qualities SF1 and SF4. Further surfaces on request.
SF1:
welded and mechanically polished Ra max ≤ 0.51 µm/20 µin
SF4:
welded and electropolished in accordance with specification HE 175 4VN (tubes) and HE 1114VN (fittings) Ra max ≤ 0.38 µm/15 µin
Characteristics/Advantages:
Reduction of the surface area, the closed chromium oxide layer optimizes the corrosion resistance and welding characteristics, no catalytic reaction with the medium.
Outer surface
Ra max ≤ 0.80 µm/32 µin
