The Dockweiler production facility for fittings for the Dockweiler stainless steel tube systems, the manufacture of spec, Special fabrications to customer drawings, the optimization of existing products and processes, as well as our own product development have lead to a high degree of know how in manufacturing technology and quality assurance – further intensified by external training on specific subjects. This high degree of know how is reflected in the multitude of test methods and the documentation that can be individually packaged for specific customer needs. |
Technical Tests and Test Methods
- Visual inspection
- Endoscopic inspection of surfaces and weld connections (Everest VIT XL-PRO)
- Measurement tests (classical measuring devices and index arm Romer Omega 2025)
- Roughness measurements acc. To DIN EN ISO 4287 / ASME B46.1 (Hommel tester T1000/6000)
- Helium leak test acc. To ASTM A 498 / SEMI F1 (inboard)
- Pressure test with nitrogen up to 40 bar
- Water jacket test acc. To DOT 4B (US Dept. of Transportation)
- Material verification with X-ray fluorescence (NitonXL3t 800)
- Magnetic inductive determination of the ferrite content in the austenitic structure (Fischer Feritscope MP30)
- Measurement of the magnetic permeability (Foerster Magnetoscop 1.069)
- Dye penetration test acc. to DIN EN 571
- Hardness test
- Preparation and examination per light optical microscope of micro and macro metallographic specimens
