Investments in Neustadt-Glewe

Business with stainless steel components and tubing systems is booming: just recently, Dockweiler was awarded a double-digit million order from a well-known international microchip manufacturer. It is the largest single order in the company's history until now.

The immense demand for microelectronic components (microchips) is one of the driving factors behind Dockweiler's positive development over the years. The background to this is global digitalization in all areas of life. "The increasing demand in the semiconductor industry was predictable. For this reason, we already set the course for growth at Dockweiler two years ago," say Dockweiler AG board members Christian Behrens, Jan-Christoph Block and Dr Uwe Braun. "With our eight subsidiaries and around 500 employees worldwide, we are well positioned to take advantage of the positive development."

The production of vaccines against the Corona virus has also contributed to Dockweiler's economic success this year: in fact, the high-purity stainless steel components and line systems also make an important contribution here to the reliability of the production of sensitive vaccines in Germany and abroad.

"As you can see, Dockweiler is closely connected with the central issues of the present and the future - such as digitalization and health," the board members emphasize. "As a family business, we have a responsibility to make investments and associated decisions on a sound basis. The investment of around six million euros at the Neustadt-Glewe site and the creation of 60 new jobs in 2022 are the result of sound corporate planning that deliberately focuses on sustainable growth."
